Adriano Ferraresi is Associate Professor at the Department of Interpreting and Translation of the University of Bologna, where he has been the coordinator of the Master’s degree in Specialised Translation since 2021. He graduated in translation at the University of Bologna, and got a Doctorate in English linguistics from the University of Naples ‘Federico II’. His research interests lie in the applications of corpora to the study of terminology and phraseology, and as tools to aid translation. He teaches MA modules on translation technology, corpora and terminology, and has given invited seminars on these topics at various Italian and European universities. He is currently the principal investigator of the PRIN project “Universally inclusive technologies to practice English”.
