University of Trieste
Alessandra Riccardi is Professor of German Language and Translation at the University of Trieste, specialising in German-Italian simultaneous interpreting. She coordinates the EMCI Programme (European Masters in Conference Interpreting) at the SSLMIT in Trieste. Her research interests include translation studies, interpreting studies, conference interpreting, the history of interpreting, simultaneous interpreting strategies and interpreting quality as well as the comparative analysis of German-Italian interpreting.
